CRG is delighted to announce the new “Library in a Box” service at Clonmore Hall. This was officially launched on Tuesday, 17th June by Bernie McCann, Area Manager, Libraries NI and Kieran Conlon, CRG Chairperson. Pupils from the local school, Clintyclay PS, attended the launch of the ‘Library in a Box’ which is a pilot project funded by DARD.
Clonmore is one of only three rural areas selected to run the pilot. Children from Clintyclay were able to check out books today and anyone with a library card can avail of this service. Users can also request book titles not already in the box. CRG committee member Ailsa McGeown will be spearheading the project and details of opening times and registration forms will be available soon. It will be great to see this unique service in popular use.
