9th May: Congratulations to the Senior ladies team on their first ever win. We didn’t have to wait too long in the season for the newly formed Senior ladies team to take their historic first victory. The comfortable win came tonight against Whitecross with the final scoreline reading Clonmore 2:13 Whitecross 2:04. While the final result may have been comfortable, the first half was a much more competitive event with a half-time score of 1:06 to 1:04 in Clonmore’s favour. It was a convincing second half performance which sealed the victory and on the back of this performance James McBennett’s team will surely be anticipating further victories during the rest of the season.
