Congratulations to all involved with the Senior Mens’ team on a successful first year in the new all-county Intermediate league. While there may be no silverware to mark the year, no-one can argue that surviving in the Intermediate League is quite an achievement considering the small panel of players, made smaller by players having to go overseas for work and injuries sustained. The Club would particularly like to thank the players who trained all year and battled hard against St Michael’s in the final game to ensure Intermediate status for next year, Joe McGrane for his work in the first half of the season and Adrian Clarke who came in half-way through the year when the club needed him. Hope everyone enjoys a winter break and comes back safe for another season where we can look forward to games against some of the biggest teams in the county such as Clan na Gael and a battle of the Emmets with Dorsey who gained Junior division promotion.
