Island Wheelers Launch Cycling For Beginners Initiative

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride a bike like those in the Tour de France? Maybe you want to lose a few pounds for that holiday? Or perhaps, you just want to go for a cycle but that bike that you remember so fondly in your childhood is now peppered in rust and punctures?  This is where the Island Wheelers Cycling Club can help!  The club understands that not everyone can justify buying a new bike just in case the urge comes across to go for a cycle.  So, to make life easier, the Island Wheelers have launched a new scheme to get people from Coalisland and Dungannon back on their bike, even if they don’t have one!

The club has a fleet of new bicycles and helmets which will be available at supervised sessions only.  All you need is some suitable clothing and shoes (special cycling shoes not necessary).  The scheme is open to anyone over the age of 18, for both men and women.  The sessions will be fully supervised by the experienced cyclists from the Island Wheelers Cycling Club who will be on hand to give advice and make sure everyone is having a good time.  Small groups can be catered for, so why not get a group of your friends together and try something new.  Not only is cycling fantastic for your health and wellbeing, but also great fun!  For more information and advice please contact James on 07714696789 or visit islandwheelers.com
