The staff and pupils of Clintyclay were delighted with a recent visit organised by CRG of Brian MacAuley one of the Dungannon areas Olympic torch bearers. Brian carried the torch for a half mile stretch in Newry on the 5th of June and he kindly took time out of his busy schedule to bring his torch to the school to show the children and tell them all about the experience. The pupils took great interest and were lucky enough to get the chance to hold the torch for themselves. The pupils are holding their own Olympic Day on Wednesday 20th. CRG and Clintyclay would like to take this opportunity to thank Brian for his visit, it was appreciated by staff and pupils.
